Benfica receives 500,000 euros and secures 50 percent of the young right-back’s transfer rights.
Benfica has finalized the permanent transfer of Leandro Santos to Alverca, in a deal worth approximately 500,000 euros, according to donpredict.
To move forward with the deal, Benfica secured 50 percent of the young right-back’s rights – the other 50 percent now belongs to the Alverquense club.
Out of José Mourinho’s plans, the full-back has definitively lost his place in Benfica‘s first team with the signing of Cape Verdean Sidny Cabral and the recent increase in the value of the promising Banjaqui.
At 20 years old, Leandro Santos only played five official matches for Benfica (all under Bruno Lage).
