Tomás Arajo and Ivanovic start for Benfica against Napoli
Benfica will field a team against Napoli with two changes to their starting eleven compared to the one José Mourinho fielded last Friday in the derby against Sporting.
António Silva and Vangelis Pavlidis start the game on the bench and are replaced by Tomás Araújo and Ivanovic. Otherwise, the Eagles’ coach maintains his usual lineup. According to Maisfutebol , the change in central defenders is due to António Silva not being at 100 percent fitness.
On the Eagles’ bench, for the first time, are José Neto, Under-17 World Champion, and midfielder Tiago Freitas.
It should be noted that former Benfica player David Neres will start for Napoli in his return to the Estádio da Luz.
Benfica’s eleven: Trubin; Dedic, Otamendi, Tomas Araujo and Dahl; Enzo and Rios; Aursnes, Barreiro and Sudakov; Ivanovic.
Naples eleven: Milinkovic-Savic; Beukema, Buongiorno and Rrahmani; Di Lorenzo, Elmas, McTominay and Mathías Olivera; David Neres, Hojlund and Noa Lang.
